Originally a diver by trade, I started photographing professionally in 2000.  Disturbed by the rapid destruction of marine environments that I had been witnessing, underwater photography became a channel for me to express my dismay and to bring the plight of these unique and fragile environments to the world at large.  From there I studied for two years under renowned photojournalist Morten Hvaal, expanding my arena to include land-based subjects.  I am now represented by several image agencies, and my portfolio is wide and varied. I have been published in Vanity Fair, Maxim, and Geo among others.

It is my hope that the images in this collection will contribute to world awareness of pressing environmental issues and help to slow our burgeoning destruction of the planet's natural resources.
